Some super easy and clever uses of Toothpaste
Toothpaste cleans your teeth and helps maintain oral hygiene. Did you know there are some remarkably startling ways in which this versatile tube can prove handy? Check out these simple and extraordinary ways to use it.

- Squirt a dab of toothpaste on the scuffed area of Leather Shoes. Rub with a soft cloth/brush. Wipe clean with a damp one. Your shoe will look just new.
- Apply a dab of toothpaste (non-gel, non-whitening) to the Pimple. It absorbs all the oil and dehydrates the pimples. However, one should try it on a sensitive area before applying it to the face as it might irritate in some cases. Avoid using if you have sensitive skin.
- To remove fog from the Headlights, apply some toothpaste to the sponge and rub it in a circular motion. Later clean it with a damp cloth. The headlight will gleam. You can even use it to defog bathroom mirrors.
- If your toddler has created some Art-Work on the walls, apply some non-gel toothpaste to the mark and later clean with a damp cloth. You will be able to get rid of the marks effortlessly.
- If there are yellow stains on Mugs/cups, you can get rid of them using toothpaste. Apply it and leave it for some time. Later wash it with dish soap and water. It will become clean.
- You can use non-gel toothpaste to make the Rubber Trim of your sneakers shine. Just apply it, scrub it and later clean using a damp cloth.
- You can get rid of the gunk at the bottom of the Iron by applying non-gel toothpaste to the cold iron. Scrub it with a rug/brush, and later clean it thoroughly with a damp cloth.
- Toothpaste also comes in handy to make your silverware, copper, and gold ornaments shine. Though some people use it for diamonds, I do not recommend it, as over-scrubbing/mishandling can cause minor scratches on the surface.
- Toothpaste is also very effective in getting back the shine of the Bathroom chrome fittings. Apply it to the fittings, leave for a few minutes and wash thoroughly with water.
- You can get rid of stains on the carpet/room runners in the house with the help of toothpaste. Apply it to the brush, and scrub the affected area.
- It is also effective in cleaning the build-up of Hair Products. Toothpaste gently removes the residue without damaging the surface.
- Use it to get rid of the Water/Coffee stains on the wooden furniture. Apply a dab of toothpaste to the stain, rub it gently, and wipe with a damp cloth.
- It is also handy to clean and brighten the Chrome Appliances and Door Knob in minutes.
